PHOTOJournalism
Originally hired as a staff writer for The Resident Good News in southeastern CT in 2005, I was expected to take my own photos. For the entire summer, it seemed for almost every issue, one of my photos would end up on the front cover. A good friend of mine suggested I pursue photography professionally, so I worked on it for a few years and eventually started freelancing in 2010. I like to be where the action is. I still consider myself a writer though and have had photos and articles published in Centerline Magazine. I am also working on a book of local history and publish the Sterling Historical Society's newsletter.
I co-wrote the chapter on Sterling for the Connecticut 169 Club in 2018.
Written work done for the Fairfield Mirror (2002-2004)
